Thoughts leading into this show

This first show is a “Road To” show and therefore mainly consisting of tag matches. I’m sure all the matches on this card will be good but the last two look very good. The six man Semi-main event will show us a glimpse into the Okada-Tanahashi fued that will continue in the final show of this tour, on September 23rd with the main event of that show being for the IWGP Championship Match at Wrestlekingdom. The main event of this show being Ospreay & Ishii vs Ibushi & Omega will lead us to the “Destruction In Hiroshima” main event on September 15th as Kenny Omega puts his IWGP Heavyweight Championship on the line against the Stone Pitbull, Tomohiro Ishii. Looking at the line-ups, this looks like a fun tour and with “ALL IN” now available on the New Japan service there is even more reason to subscribe.

HINT: NJPW charges at the beginning of the month, like mist Japanese subscription services, so your best time to subscribe is early in the month. NJPW World is ¥999 per month which is less than the WWE Network and about the same price as Netflix.
